Dinners at Nightingale are provided by Norse Catering and we provide the Universal Infant Free School Meal (UIFSM) to every child. The current menu provided by Norse is available on our school website as well as a link to the Norse website for more information about the service we receive from Norse. Parents order a meal for their child using the Pupil Asset Parent App which is available on Android and Apple devices. More information about lunch ordering will be shared with families during transition.

Occasionally we hold special lunch menus to celebrate seasonal events, curriculum links or on our census days. Details of those meals will be provided by the school’s office via an email home to parents prior to the event.

Children do not have to have a lunch provided by the school and can bring a home packed lunch in to school. Those children will eat in the dining hall with children receiving a lunch provided by the school. Nightingale is a ‘Healthy School’ and therefore encourage a healthy home packed lunch to be brought into school. No fizzy drinks, sweets or chocolate bars should be brought into school, the nursery have some additional information for children who stay for lunch. We are a nut free school and nursery as children and adults with a nut allergy can be severely affected by others consuming products that contain nuts.
